How to create a Compute Instance in Oracle Cloud

 

Here’s a high-level overview of how to create a compute instance in Oracle Cloud:

  1. Log into the Oracle Cloud Console.
  2. Navigate to Compute -> Instances.
  3. Click on Create Instance.
  4. Choose the compartment and configure the instance details:
    • Select the shape (size and resources).
    • Choose the image (e.g., Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
    • Configure networking, assigning a VCN and subnet.
    • Configure SSH keys for secure access (for Linux instances).
  5. Review and click Create to launch the instance.

After creating the instance, you can access it and start deploying your applications or services.
